Gardening: “Gardening From the Ground Up”

Course Description:
Interested in improving the planet one yard at a time? This class is guaranteed to improve your level of gardening skills, whatever they may be. During your stay here, you will touch on all aspects of gardening and landscaping with lecture, media, and lots of hands on practice. At the end of the week, you will leave with a manual of information to help you turn your piece of the planet into an earth friendly natural wonder.
Bio:
Linda Wilson is a Master Gardener with a passion for native plants. She frequently presents programs at various club meetings and teaches the native plant module for the Walker County Master Gardener course. Linda has studied native plants at UAB, the University of Western Carolina and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens. She has a degree in Fine Arts and believes that one's garden is an expression of art. On her own piece of the planet, she gardens organically and for wildlife and is proud to be considered a compost wacko.
