Hammered Dulcimer: “Hands-On”

Course Description:
Participants should expect a “lots of playing” experience to include a variety of styles, rhythms and chords (fiddle tunes, hymns, Celtic, and contemporary). This class, open to both “readers” and or “by ear” players, welcomes all experience levels (players should know how to tune their instrument, though). Bring recorders and lots of questions and get ready to take your playing to the next level!

Bio:
Linda has a degree in Music Education and a Master of Arts in Teaching; her workshops are offered in many locations, including the Ozark Folk Center in Mt. View, AR., Davis & Elkins, WV and the Walnut Valley Festival in Winfield, KS. Linda’s instructional materials for Hammered Dulcimer are published by Mel Bay Publications, Inc.
