Quilting: “Creating Quilts without Patterns”:
Nancy Hinds

Course Description:
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced quilter, you will enjoy this creative class. Students will learn how to construct a quilt without relying on patterns. Piecing and quilting on the sewing machine, each student will decide on their own design, color choices, and quilt size. Our focus will be on simple and easy quilting techniques!

Bio:
Nancy Hinds has been teaching quilting for more than 25 years. Her passion for quilting and teaching has taken her around the country to share her knowledge and talents. With her quilts and her other obsession, colorful baskets created from watercolor paper, you can see her love for color and design. Her book, Painless Quilting, and patterns allow her to share her ideas with quilters everywhere. She is a founding member of Ozone Layers Quilt Guild and Fiber Artists of Louisiana, and active member of Gulf States Quilting Assoc, SAQA, IQA, NQA, and AQS. Nancy lives in Covington, LA with her husband, two cats, a dog, and four sewing machines.
