Weaving: “Beginning Weaving on the Multiple-Harness Loom”
Nancy Kenfield
Course Description:
Beginning to Intermediate weavers will enjoy working on 4-Shaft table looms and learn to dress the loom and produce basic plain weave and twill weaves. We will make a sampler of these weaving techniques which will be a lovely scarf to take home to wear AND use for future reference. Yarns and equipment supplied, or you may bring your own. For Intermediate weavers, we will explore double weave, as well. Come learn a craft that could easily become a lifelong passion! Loom-rental is a modest $15 for the week and yarn will be available for $1 per ounce.
