ARTS AND CRAFTS DIRECTOR JOB DESCRIPTION

The Arts and Crafts Director conducts and supervises all activities in the Arts and Crafts area. The Arts and Crafts Director is responsible to the Head Counselor and to the SCC.

Specific duties include:

• inventory all materials and supplies at the beginning of the summer and purchase necessary supplies throughout the summer
• check with each Session Director in advance of their camp to discuss special needs for their session and provide materials to meet their requests
• design and facilitate age-appropriate arts and crafts activities, in a variety of mediums, for each afternoon activity period
• clean arts and crafts area, storage areas and bathrooms
